From Richmond To HamptonU...

Last year I took an Oral Communications course. We had had to do individual presentations about our hometown. It was then that I met Deshaan, he was one of the many people at Hampton, whom I had met that was from Richmond. From his hospitable ways, to his slightly country accent, he completely embodies the typical Richmond resident. For me, someone who never really met any one from Richmond he has left a very positive impression with me about people from there.

Deshaan Johnson is sophomore Economics major by way of Richmond, Virginia. Deshaan has ambitions of continuing his education in economics after completely his ungraduate studies, into a masters in economics.Deshaan finished his freshman year on the deans list with a 3.5 GPA. Coming from Richmond VA, Deshaan graduated from Highland Springs High School with honors.
He also took up the knowledge of being able to cut his own hair as well as others. He plans on obtaining his Barbers license upon total completion of school and starting his own shop. Might have to put it together. Upon graduation one of his goals is to work for Wall Street down in New York City. His hardworking and dedicated mindset will take him far.

During my photoshoot, I came across a model who was no beginner. All the way from Queens, NY to Hampton University. She has been in many previous fashion shows here on campus, and considers herself to be a socilite in the Hampton community. She came to the photo shoot, in one of her well-known looks, which is chic black leather.

Taylor V. Photography©

I had the honor of directing my first photo shoot on the grounds of Hampton University. Since Hampton is known as my Home By The Sea, I decided to do the shoot on the well known water front. A well known photographer on the campus volunteered to take the pictures. She has a great work ethic, and she is very patient. I know that sometimes when I am very passionate about something, it is very hard for me to convey my vision, but she completely understood what I wanted, and helped me bring my dream to frutition.

Who's the REAL Psycho?

Just yesterday, a video was released of the song "Am I a Psycho" by Tech N9ne, Hopsin, and BoB. The song takes a step on the wild side, exploring the mind of a "Psycho". Now this was not my first time hearing the song but it was my first time hearing Tech N9ne and Hopsin on this track. In June 2011, a mix-tape was relaesed by DJ Whiteowl in which the song was featured, only it was recorded by Joell Ortiz and Pharoahe featuring BoB, as a remix. Now personally I think that the remix was better than the newly released original. However, I don't speak for the entire hip hop community. Tell me: Who is the better psycho? Listen and decide.

Guys add a little more color to your style and a little less material.  Spring most definitely will be the time to show off the progress you've made over the winter season in preparation for the season.

The crop top will be more of and everyday piece of apparel for also any occasion; coming in many different styles.

Make sure you have something light, sheer, and open for those  days when summer seems to have made an early arrival.

Pastels are now your best friends.

Get a strappy pair of wedges and/or heels to complete your look.
