This Is What PHLI People Do...

A reversed acronym for I Love Hyde Park, The original PHLI store is located in the historic Hyde Park area. This enables PHLI to connect with a diverse client base – from the 13 year old sneaker head to the 60 year old University of Chicago professor. While most entrepreneurs were building just a store PHLI founder, Dave Jeff established an international brand through grassroots marketing, product placement, and innovative designs inspired by Dave’s unique connection to the urban tastemaker and his understanding of what they were seeking from a lifestyle brand. Dave ( DJ) and I recently chat’d about the sneaker boutique located on the South Side of Chicago, IL. When I first was introduced to the store, it was with a good friend of mine, and he was like a proud family member waiting to show off the family jewel. I remember walking in and was in SNEAKER HEAVEN the environment of the store fit tom boyish alter ego ways. Dave Jeff the owner has allowed us into his world of being nothing less than PHLI….

My Claim Too Fame… I have a couple: I have been in the entertainment industry since I was 17, in the Michael Jackson video, and stylist with Toni Sports” which allowed me to dressed the city for many years”, and now the store PHLI’

Inspirations… The 1st is God, you have to sit back and let him direct you. It is so much easier with God driving...

My Weakness… Very big heart and sometimes that gets the worst of me

My Heart… I Care about the ppl, the wellness of “us”, and I have been blessed to get “it”, and to understand “it”, and I don’t have to worry about too much of nothing.... And would love it for our ppl to have that same peace

My Favorite Brands Are… “ Everything Chicago, Fashion Geeks, Leaders, PHLI, Homemade (a purple label’esq line) be on the lookout it’s launching soon…. Gucci of course… and all that good stuff.

In My Ipod… My friends play on me, I am the original R&B thug and I am on the management team for BJ the Chicago Kid, and Drake...
