I had the honor of directing my first photo shoot on the grounds of Hampton University. Since Hampton is known as my Home By The Sea, I decided to do the shoot on the well known water front. A well known photographer on the campus volunteered to take the pictures. She has a great work ethic, and she is very patient. I know that sometimes when I am very passionate about something, it is very hard for me to convey my vision, but she completely understood what I wanted, and helped me bring my dream to frutition.
BIOGRAPHY
Photographer Taylor Smith is the owner of Taylor V. Photography as well as co-owner of Dope Division clothing line. She is a junior graphic design major at Hampton University and is from the gateway to the west St. Louis, Missouri. Her passion for photography began in 2006 while taking a film photography class in high school. “Let me capture you” is what Smith believes a photographer should live by and that capturing the essence of every moment is what gives every shot its glory.
